A prom happens once, and you want the programme to be memorable. But the set is almost always the same: a host, a disco, a cover band, a photo zone. What is usually missing is a finale after which everyone leaves with one shared video. A prom flash mob with phone flashlights fills that gap.
What the programme is usually made of
- A host and games: keep the rhythm of the evening, but few people actively take part
- A cover band or DJ: people dance, but it is background, not an event
- Photo zones: social content all evening
- Cold fountains and smoke: beautiful, but only visible by the stage
- Fireworks: often not allowed at schools and many venues, see the alternatives in what to use instead of fireworks
A finale everyone takes part in
Graduates scan a QR code on the screen, raise their phones, and the whole room flashes to the class track: waves across the room, flashes on the chorus, a shared salvo at the end of the song. No app or equipment, just a screen with the code and sound.
- Everyone takes part, not ten people on stage
- Everyone films the glowing room, and the class keeps one shared video
- The show starts from the sound desk at the right moment: the first dance or the final song
What the venue needs
Agree on the track and the moment in the script, put the QR code on screen or print it. The DJ or host launches it. Works in an assembly hall, a banquet hall, a club or outdoors, even with poor internet: commands go as ultrasound through the venue sound. The darker the room, the brighter the picture.
What it costs
From 10,000 ₽ per event for up to 100 guests, a fixed price, as many runs per evening as you like. For bigger proms see the calculator. A comparison with other light formats is in light show types, and you can book a show on the celebration light show page.
