LED wristbands for concerts without rental: audience phone flashlights
Controllable LED wristbands light up the crowd on cue from the lighting desk. We do the same with phone flashlights: viewers scan a QR code, raise their phones, and the whole hall flashes to the music. No wristbands to rent, hand out or collect, and no app either
Event technologies
A synchronized light show from viewers’ phones: each screen and flashlight becomes a pixel of the shared picture
Works in the browser, no app download required
Works on whitelists, even when the internet is blocked
Flashlight sync without internet via ultrasound, no load on the mobile network
Mapping the picture from flashlights by row and seat or by geolocation

When wristbands, when phones
- Wristbands: an exact colour on every wrist and a big budget. They need rental, handing out at the entrance, collecting and charging, and some go home with the audience
- Phones: a glowing hall without logistics. Every viewer already has a flashlight, commands come as ultrasound from the speakers, no mobile internet needed
- Only phones: after the show a sponsor promo or a prize draw opens in every participant’s browser

- How do concert LED wristbands work?
- A controllable wristband has LEDs and a receiver. The lighting desk sends a radio or infrared signal, and the wristbands change colour on cue. More in our article on concert wristbands
- How much does LED wristband rental cost?
- 100–450 ₽ per unit per day: group wristbands are cheaper, pixel ones cost more. You pay for every viewer, for 10,000 people that is 1–4.5 million ₽ before delivery and handing out
- What if we buy light-up bracelets?
- Simple light-up bracelets are cheaper, but they are not controlled from a desk and blink on their own. You will not get a synchronized show to the music from them
- Do viewers need an app?
- No. The viewer scans a QR code and the show page opens in the browser. Works on iPhone and Android
- Is it like the wristbands at Coldplay concerts?
- The effect is similar: the whole crowd glows together. Coldplay’s wristbands are estimated at about 400,000 euros per concert. Here the “wristband” is already in every viewer’s pocket
- Does it work at a stadium or open air?
- Yes. Flashlights are visible under street lighting too, and at big venues we run waves by sector. More on the concert light show and stadium show pages
- Where has it worked already?
- At concerts by Sirotkin, Nikolay Grinko, Pavel Pikovsky and Vasily Urievsky, and at Krylia Sovetov matches. Videos on the case studies page
