Most numbers are watched from the side. We do the opposite. The host asks everyone to scan a QR code, guests raise their phones, and the whole room’s flashlights flash to the music. You can light up the phones when the cake comes out, or make a finale to the birthday person’s favourite song. No app or internet is needed: the signal travels via ultrasound from the speakers.
