A DJ controls the crowd’s flashlights from pads: a test at RetroBunker Fest

At RetroBunker Fest on 21 March we tested a new mode: the crowd’s flashlights controlled from DJ pads. During DJ Tonio’s set the effects switched live, right on the beat, without a pre-recorded script.

DJ Tonio switches flashlight effects from the pads

For a DJ or musician it is one more instrument in the set: hit a pad and the crowd answers with light. The command goes out as ultrasound through the same speakers as the music.

The format suits parties and corporate events with a DJ on the decks: options on the corporate light show page. For concerts and festivals see the concert light show page.

How it looks at a big concert: the show at Nikolay Grinko’s concert, and party mechanics are in a light show for corporate events and parties.
